By default, values are percentages of the full rating list on each date (women or men in the band ÷ all players; birth year vs list year; unusable birthdays excluded from age buckets). Use Y-axis → Count for absolute player numbers. Men + women shows a stacked chart (men lower, women upper; in % mode, shares sum to 100% of the list, or to the band’s share when a band is selected). Pick one band to plot that slice; pick both an age and a rating for the intersection.
Stacked composition chart from 2010 onward. Each bar shows the share or count of players on each list date by rating-list coverage. Use the legend to hide or show specific combinations.
Standard rating list only: latest FIDE standard list in the selected calendar year. Each bar is a 50-point band (e.g. 2400–2449). Respects Hide inactive players like other charts.
